About Casey

In case you missed it, my name is Cassandra Bright, but everyone—from friends to colleagues—calls me Casey. You can too.

What I'm all about

I'm equal parts marketing strategist and get-shit-done operator.

I love building brands, creating go-to-market strategies, and helping fast-growing companies scale. But I'm just as energized by rolling up my sleeves, solving problems alongside my team, and turning ambitious ideas into measurable business results.

I'm a hands-on, people-first leader who thrives in high-growth environments where collaboration, transparency, and accountability matter. My favorite partnerships are with Sales and Product because the best marketing doesn't happen in a silo—it happens when everyone is working toward the same goal.

My professional story

Over the past 18 years, I've built marketing organizations, led go-to-market strategy, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and helped companies navigate periods of rapid growth—from startups like Passport and Flock Freight to Fortune 500 brands including John Deere and USG.

Along the way, I've led teams spanning Marketing, Sales & Business Development, and even RevOps; helped rebrand a startup through a successful acquisition; partnered with Sales and IT on CRM and revenue operations initiatives; launched campaigns featured by Adweek; managed Webby Award-winning website redesigns; built high-performing paid media programs; and developed integrated marketing strategies across nearly every major channel—from web, events, and content marketing to PR, SEO, paid social, television, radio, print, out-of-home, and digital advertising.

What motivates me most isn't checking boxes on a résumé—it's building brands people remember, creating marketing that drives real business outcomes, and developing teams that enjoy doing great work together.

Outside of work

I grew up in New Jersey—a state I'll happily defend to anyone willing to debate its merits.

My love of adventure started early through hiking, kayaking, tubing, weekends at the Jersey Shore, and eventually hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail. During college, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by spending a semester studying abroad in Tuscany, and I've been hooked on international travel ever since.

Since then, I've called the Baltimore, New York City, Chicago, and now San Diego metro areas home. Each city has shaped how I think, work, and experience the world, giving me a true appreciation for diversity of people, thoughts & ideas.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, reading, relaxing at the beach, trying a new restaurant (I'm a proud foodie), or spoiling my two four-legged best friends, Siena and Frankie.
